Poem - A Smile

On this bright, beautiful and happy morning, let me bring you a smile on your face and hope it will bring you a good start of the day.........

Remember a song which we used to sing when we were young regarding smile...... let me share with you the wording first.......... hope you still remember this song.........

"A smile is quite a funny thing it wrinkles up your face
And when its gone you'll never find its secret hiding place
But far more wonderful it is to see what smile can do
You smile at one, he smile at you
And so one smile makes two"

Here comes the poem.........

A Smile

What cost you less-
And yet give so much?
What is it that conveys such a lot,
And yet with little lost?
One smile-
Can light up a room,
One such grin,
Can thaw an ice,
Can create warmth,
And spread love around.
In so short a moment,
In so little a time,
One friend is made,
A link is joined,
In that everlasting charm of friendship.
And how much has it cost?
Nothing, and so much to gain,
It never hurts,
To smile, or give a smile in return,
For it makes the day,
Brighter, lovelier,
- the sole purpose of a smile!!
