A frustrating situation!

It's lunch time, and I am ordering some food at a hawker stall, choose a table with fan nearby expecting to enjoy a satisfying meal with a cooler environment,  BUT to our surprise the food is served just within a few minutes and the smell of the rice in the first place knock me hard on the head! I told my mun "it's overnight rice!"

Next, I spoon a spoonful of soup and taste it, "Oh, my! The soup is not hot, just slight warm!"  Trying to stay cool, I try to dig into the soup again looking for chicken meat and the salted vegetable, as I am ordering a bowl of salted vegetable chicken soup.  To my surprise the chicken meat and salted vegetable are over-boiled,  must have been the left-over from the previous day.  Not to mention it's tasteless!!

My mum is not choosy in terms of food, anything will satisfy her taste bud and she seldom complain.  When I tasted her buttered chicken "Oh, my! my! It's so hard!"  It must have been the left-over chicken!! It's not surprising that all the food in that stall are LEFT-OVERS!

Will we ever go back to that food court again?? NO, NEVER!!!!!  Not only that particular stall, but NO to that food court!! Serious......

"Look before you leap!"

Since young we are being thought to "Look before you leap!"  This phrase applies to our everyday lives - before we cross the road we must make sure that the road is clear; as simple as when we go marketing, we must make sure that whatever we want to buy must be fresh before we purchase; children who are intending to further their study must decide wisely what their interest are before they sign in to the course they want to pursue; couples who are intending to get married needs to make proper and wise arrangements for their life-long commitment, etc.... etc.....

Couple of days ago, I was making my turn as the traffic light turned green at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce towards Jalan Badruddin.  Then, all of a sudden two traffic police on motorbike drove out at speed from the entrance of the Police Headquarters and made a halt and put their hands up, requesting all on coming traffic to stop instantly, giving way to some police vehicles to exit!

Lucky enough the vehicle behind me is not speeding while making their traffic light turn, or else I will sure get bump into!!

Is this the right way for police personnel to act??  Is such a protocol so necessary??? Even if it's so, but can't they at least follow some traffic rules so accidents won't have to happen!!  Common sense tells that before you stop any vehicle at any entrances, at least take a look first, if the on-coming vehicles are not too near in making their stop, then do so at your liking, but not if the on-coming vehicle is too near!!  This is what happens when authorities takes the law in their own hands ~ frustrated indeed ~

The beauty of NATURE!

The beauty of nature is all around us -  the sparkling rays of sunrise and sunset; the colourful rainbow which spreads across the sky; clusters of white clouds which floats over the clear blue sky; drizzling rain just before sunset, etc....

I've captured some beautiful pictures recently and would love to share.....
Sunrise
Sunset
blue sky with white clouds at mid morning
drizzling at 6.30pm.
15mins. later, the beautiful rays of the sun setting

beautiful clouds at 5.45pm.
an Air Asia plane flying over the rainbow at 7.08am.
Not everyone appreciate the beauty of nature! I have a friend who love to travel but coming back complaining that it's a disappointing trip to Taiwan as what they see are just rocks, trees and hills!!

Hello July!

Come to think of it, the month of July really comes as a surprise for me! Why?? The month of June just slip by without much thought, and I dare admit that it's all because of my laziness.  Many a times I signed in but just starred blankly at this white page, I seem to be 'lost!'

Well, hope that July will be a more energetic month for me (more to of my mind as I am as usual very energetic physically day in and day out).

On the overall, the first six months of the year 2014 have been great for my family, thank you Lord for your presence in our daily lives. May your abundance blessings, guidance and protection continue to be upon us all, Amen.  Praise The Lord!
