Today being Mother's Day, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all mothers out there "A Very Happy & Blessed Mother's Day".
Let me share with you a little history about this special day for all mothers.......
The mother of Mother's Day was the late Anna Jarvis. Though she is never married and never a mother, she campaigned for almost a decade to dedicate a day to honour mothers. She chose a Sunday because she wanted it to be a "holy" day, not a holiday, and the second Sunday of May because it was the anniversary of the death of her own beloved mother.
Jarvis wanted us to show our mothers how much their devotion and sacrifice matters, how we esteem the "truth, priority and broad charity of mother love". She expected us to do it with simple gestures.
As today is a special day for us mothers....... let's sit back, relax & enjoy the little celebration which our love ones have in store for us...... It doesn't have to be a big celebration..... every single gestures counts!!
