The Gift Of Real True Friends

Friendship is a very important gift in each and everyone's life, but how many really have true friends??

A true friend is one that really cares in good times as well as in bad. One that will pop-in or give you a call whenever possible and most of all a true friend is one that really remembers you!

"Everyone is a friend, until they prove otherwise"

The above saying is really true, as everyone is considered a "friend". Time will only tell whether he/she is a true friend! I can really tell that there are not many true friends around and the moment you are not around them you will be left out of their circle of friends - some even behave as if you are a stranger to them! The relationship built all these years can be gone just like that!!! The proverb below really proves it all..........

"Out of sight, out of mind"

For those who have experienced this situation will agree with me, but those who haven't, it is just a matter of time to get there.

Friendship is a priceless gift,
that cannot be bought or sold,
But its value is worth far greater,
than the mountain made of gold-
For gold is cold, lifeless
it can neither see nor hear,
And in the time of trouble,
it is powerless to cheer-
it has no ears to listen
no heart to understand
it cannot bring you comfort
or reach out a helping hand-
So when you ask God for a gift
be thankful if he sends
Not diamonds, pearls nor riches,
