August, a month full of celebrations.......

Hello..... as today is the first day of the month of August, would like to wish everyone out there 'A happy and blessed month of August'. Well.... August is my favourite month and....... not only that....... it is also a month full of celebrations, love, happiness and joys for all. Guess, you will come to know of it as each day pass - so don't miss reading my blog!

To start off....... 1st August is Kuching City Day. Wanna know what is in store???

• The Sarawak Regatta started off this morning at Kuching Waterfront, for three days (1st to 3rd August)
• PC Fair 2008 - 1st to 3rd August at Level 5, Permata Carpark
• Kuching City Day Parade - Tonight, 1st August (an annual parade in conjunction with Kuching City Day)
  
• Kuching Food Festival - starting this evening for approximately two weeks (usually being extended every year)

This will normally be the time of the year where lots of tourists come to visit our beautiful Kuching City. They get the opportunity to observe the different races and ethnic groups belonging to the different cultures and religions and being in their different costumes parading along Kuching City. "Oh! what a scene indeed!" Off course...... another great thing is to get the taste of different varieties of food at the Food Festival, which is another yearly affair.

For tourists...... if you are in Kuching and is interested to find out more, then visit our Kuching Food Festival (evening onwards), at Dewan Masyarakat, Padungan Road. Apart from food there are also many other things in store for all. And....... don't forget to bring along your camera........
