Comes in a package of two..... [Part 1]

With Lawrence too tight up with work, what we can do is plan well in advance for a short but superb holiday within Malaysia, which coincide with a day of public holiday and weekend, and at the same time get the opportunity to celebrate our grandson's 3rd birthday ~ CHEERS ~

Not wanting to waste much time we took an early 7 morning flight from Kuching to KL. While waiting for our next flight to Langkawi at 12 noon, we make a personal tour within KLIA2 and enjoyed breakfast at Johnny Rockets.

Upon arrival at Langkawi airport we rented a car which serves us well throughout our 3D2N stay in the island.....

With a brochure and some tips from the lady of the Car Rental Company, we made our way to our hotel, which was pre-booked and paid by Karen.

After checking in and unpacked, off we go, and the first itinerary on our list is The Underwater World.
White tip reef sharks

African Penguins

Being in the Underwater World have always been captivating, watching the different types of marine animals swimming gracefully brings our mind and heart at peace and its something which we don't get to see that often.  After spending a worthy whole hour with the marine lives, we then proceed to the duty free shop, bought some chocolate stuffs, put them into our car booth and decided to move around on foot....

After an hour of stroll along Pantai Cenang where we get to see stalls selling clothes, shoes, bags, souvenirs and food, our tummy are calling us to stop for dinner at Palm View Seafood Restaurant.....

After dinner we made our way back, which is another long walk to where we parked our car at Underwater World.  It has been a tiring but enjoyable day.....
