How many of you really know how Pitcher Plant looks like??? Guess not many of you will know, especially if you are not interested in plants...... Let me show you then......
About a kilometer away from Padawan Municipal Council and in the heart of our so called 10th Mile Bazaar...... this latest tourist attraction centre have a varieties of collection for Pitcher Plants and Wild Orchids. This is considered to be the first of it's kind in Kuching. As this is a protected plant in our country, so we hardly can find it growing everywhere, except if we go into the jungles......

This is considered to be the first of it's kind in Kuching. As this is a protected plant in our country, so we hardly can find it growing everywhere, except if we go into the jungles......Plants from neighbouring countries and regions are also being displayed. There are about 30 plus subspecies of Pitcher Plants. Besides Pitcher Plants and Wild Orchids, there are also collections of Ferns and Bird's Nest.
You don't only get to see all the beautiful plants and flowers there, but you can also enjoy the beautifully decorated gardens from the well-decorated landscapes...... You can enjoy all these by only paying a very norminal RM1.00 for Malaysian adult, and 50 sen for children, whereas tourist is RM2.00. You can also enjoy your photo-taking there!
