Why women needs to be in the fast track??

In today's workforce, women really needs to move fast - to be at par with men; should be at the key point in decision making - for women themselves can be powerful and influential and should also take a greater interest in women's organisations at all levels. Why???

1. Time has evolved and it can be seen today that there is a growing prominent of women in many fields and more of them are highly educated
2. In order to have a successful career women needs to move fast as career opportunities are too challenging
3. There is need for women workforce to supplement as well as compliment to the country's much envied growth rate - or else women would be totally left out
4. The future of this century is full of challenges, thus women needs to do a very good and tough job to navigate through it
5. To accomodate to the fast changes of time and cultural development in society

Women Today.........

Today's women are forced to perform a tough juggling act - they are expected to care for the family, excel in their career and still stay in great shape all the time.

However, in their pursuit for a balance between career and family, many working mothers face problems. There seems to be no one right answer or formula. The act of balancing career and family requires a women to keep on working on it, making it a lifetime commitment. As the main subject in this involves people we deal with daily - husbands, children, bosses, colleagues, etc - each of whom has their own personality and hence can easily become affected by external factors.

Whatever it is, women needs to remember the price they have to pay and the benefits they can gain when setting their priorities between work and family. Putting one above the other do require some sacrifices in achieving an ideal balance.

Let me share with you a phrase which best describes today's women......

A hand in the cradle, a foot on the ladder of success.
A child to raise at home, a project to complete in the office.
A home to run, a department to oversee.
In bid to have the best of both worlds, many women have to be content with having less than the best from one or the other.

Because women today have so many areas of life to handle, we sometimes forget to carve out a little bit of that time for themselves. But we really should - Because if we don't re-charge our batteries, how can we hope to inspire our family, friends, colleagues - and the hundred and one other people we meet everyday?????

So, my dear women friends...... always be happy, cheerful & content with whatever we are doing & all that we have.

Aspects of a successful women

1. Women should have a clear vision of what they really want in their life
2. Working women should learn to cope well in their pursuit for a balance between career and family
3. They should learn to work effectively using all their time valuably
4. Be always ready to contribute in all aspects
5. Women should not shy away from taking centrestage but instead to grab the spotlight when opportunity arises
6. Women needs to understand also the different ways of thinking and behaving between the genders. This will help women to be more effective and less frustrated in their role as wife, mother and employee
7. They should know what is currently happening in society. Through their awareness they can voice their grievances, help to reduce social ills and find beneficial solutions

Because I am a women, I must make unusual efforts to succeed.

If I fail no one will say, "She doesn't have what it takes".

They will say, "Women don't have what it takes."
