Salads......... yum.....yum........ This will be the comment of salad lovers as well as those 'health-conscious' people who prefer to eat less meat but more vegetables and fruits!!
Salad is a mixture of cold foods, usually including vegetables and/or fruits, with a dressing and sometimes with addition of meat, egg, prawns and others. It can be healthy, satisfying meals on their own or perfect accompaniments to main dishes.
Most household today would prefer to make their own salad at home as it is simple to make and its dressing can be easily purchased from any supermarkets.
These two salads above are my own home-made recipes. On the left is a mixture of fruits, vegetables & prawns salad with Thousand Island dressing, but the one on the right is solely fruit salad with a sprinkling of rose syrup.
